Alamelu Annhamalai
Alamelu Annhamalai is a Chennai-based ambidextrous visual artist. For the past five years, she has worked as a freelance artist and art educator.
Her work is inspired by personal experiences, the intricacies of human nature, societal changes, nostalgia, and remembrance.
Apart from her exhibition ‘A Soldier of Hope’ (Lalit Kala Akademi) in 2017, which included over a hundred pieces, she raised funds for Blue Cross of India in February-March 2020 with her solo exhibition ‘Canvas for a Cause’ (C.P.Arts Centre). Her work has been shown in several different exhibitions across the country and is in private collections both in India and overseas.
Apart from teaching/guest lectures at universities, schools, and holding workshops, she has always been interested in teaching and has built her own course for children and examined their improvement as a personal project in rabout therapy. She has been running multiple online art lessons during the lockdown, reaching students of all ages from all over the world.

Joyeeta, a fine artist, illustrator, creative thinker, or whatever name you want to give her,accepts it with open arms.
She’s been painting like every other kid; she’s just the one who hasn’t stopped like many of us do .She took her passion seriously and pursued a career that would allow her to indulge it. She received her bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the Indian College of Arts and her draftsmanship from Rabindra Bharati University, and she hasn’t looked back since.
She was blessed with the love of people with every sketch and small step in social media and the art field, and that kind of sums up her story. Studio Joyeeta was formed by her and her best friend (who is now her husband), and it marked the start of yet another lovely journey.They make things and memories for people, do everything they can to make the world a better place to live in.
