Harwinder, a resident of Jalandhar’s Rammandi, is 24 years old. Harwinder is India’s shortest  lawyer, standing at 3 feet 11 inches tall. Harwinder Kaur has paid attention to the insults she received as a child, but now she is being taken up as an example.

Indeed don’t stop until proud,today we present to you the inspiring story of Harwinder Kaur Janagal(Ruby) who besides all the hurdles has achieved milestones in her life.

Dwarf people are mocked until today. They are the funniest of all jokes. Don’t you think it’s the size of a dwarf’s heart, not his or her stature, that matters?But Harwinder Kaur has put all the bullies aside and achieved her dreams like any normal person.

A lawyer with the shortest stature

Harwinder Kaur Janagal had always wanted to be an air hostess but due to her short stature, she was unable to pursue her goal.

Imagine how every dwarf is mocked because of their dwarfism! Why is our culture so judgmental and critical of one another on arbitrary grounds?

She discovered that her physique was not expanding normally when she was in Class IV This resulted in a great deal of mockery and exploitation. Harwinder began skipping school as she progressed through the grades and spent the majority of her days at home. Harwinder’s life changed for the better when she resolved to face the world and enrolled at the KCL Institute of Laws in Jalandhar. She was able to enjoy and experience things that she was unable to do so in high school during her college years.

Ruby’s family was concerned about her slow growth of height and sought the advice of several specialists, as well as a variety of treatments ranging from medication to meditation, but all to no avail.

Turning point of Harwinder’s Life.

Ruby had ascertained that after completing her 12th grade, she would pursue a legal career in order to build a separate persona. As a result, she graduated and went on to become a lawyer in this field. Harwinder’s mother, Sukhdeep Kaur, is a homemaker and her father, Shamsher Singh, works as an ASI with the Phillip traffic cops. Harwinder Kaur, on the other hand, finished her LLB last year and received a client certificate and a prize.

The Wistful Notion

Harwinder Kaur can see the faces of those who once scorned her, changing colors now when she has been named “India’s Smallest Stature Lawyer.” She can see those judgmental people’s subtle remarks transform into compliments and kind words. Isn’t it funny how ironic it is? 

“The disdainful looks and mocking words made me doubt my talents as a child. I’m just 3 feet 11 inches tall now, but the disdainful stares have turned into respect, and the sneaky words have become compliments. I am proud of myself.“

Harwinder accepted herself as she instilled positivity in her and inspired her to achieve all of her goals. Although she struggled with depression at one point in her life, she is now admired for her self-confidence moreover she has a large fan base on social media.
